Committee Descriptions
| Committee | Description |

| Dances/Socials | Plans and organizes the spring social and chaperones for students. |
| Eighth Grade Send-Off | Plans and coordinates activities for 8th grade year-end celebration; coordinates gifts for 8th graders. |
| Box Tops for Education | Collects and submits Box Tops sent in by students and earns cash back for CDMS PTA. |
| Coke Gives | Collects and submits Coke product bottle caps, box codes, etc, for school rewards. |
| Gertrude Hawk | Coordinates the Gertrude Hawk candy sale fundraiser. |
| Race For Education | Coordinates Race for Education Fundraiser. |
| Restaurants & Events Fundraisers | Coordinates Restaurant Nights and other events to earn cash for the CDMS PTA. |
| Hersheypark Volunteers | Organizes volunteers to work at Hershey Park to earn money for CDMS PTA. Volunteers earn a free one-day voucher (must be at least 18 years of age). |
| Hersheypark Tickets | Sells tickets to CDMS families in the spring as part of a PTA fundraiser. |
| Hospitality | Provides baked goods to school activities and to our staff at CDMS. Coordinates refreshments for school functions as needed. |
| Membership / Volunteers | Organizes the PTA's annual membership drive, assists CDMS teachers/staff with projects and events as requested by school administration and staff. |
| Parents Advisory Committee/Legislative (PAC) | Attends monthly meetings with various School Board members to discuss CDMS issues and report on any news to the PTA during the monthly PTA meetings. |
| Rams Make a Difference | Coordinates service opportunities for students to give to the community. (Song Wars to raise money for MS Society, SOCKTOBER in the fall & Winter Coats/Hats collection in December) |
| Reflections | Coordinates schoolwide, regional and national PTA Arts Competition program in the fall. |
| Scholarships | Promote available senior scholarships and coordinate review/judging of applications. |
| Spirit Wear | Organizes the sale of CD Rams logo attire and items. |
| Teacher/Staff Appreciation | Organizes food and hospitality for Teacher/Staff Appreciation week events. |
| Web & Social Media | Updates the CDMS PTA webpage and FB page. |
